Filta Starts 2020 Strong with a Full Pipeline, Including New Franchise Deals Service Brand Targets Portland, Long Island and Tulsa for Additional Expansion Areas

Filta Environmental Kitchen Solutions has experienced a strong start to 2020 with a handful of deals already in the works, a full pipeline of potential franchisees interested in the brand, and newly identified target expansion areas. The recognized leader in active fryer management and environmental kitchen sustainability for the food and hospitality industry, Filta makes commercial kitchens safer, more efficient, and environmentally sustainable by micro-filtering existing cooking oil, providing bin-free waste oil collection, deep cleaning fryers, and recycling waste oil.

Filta burst into 2020 with nearly a dozen prospective franchisees at the January Discovery Day, an opportunity for interested prospects to take a deep, exploratory dive into the brand and learn more about the company. As the calendar flipped to a new decade, people from Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa and Texas made the trip to Filta’s Orlando headquarters for the day-long presentation, keeping the brand’s expansion pipeline full.

This pipeline complements a handful of deals in Idaho, Pennsylvania and Texas that are already in the works and on their way to closure, according to Adam Blake, Filta’s vice president of franchise development.

“While it’s true we are in a great position, expansion-wise, we’re always seeking new growth areas around the country,” Blake said. “Portland has jumped higher on our radar recently. The population in the Pacific Northwest is demanding ever-increasing food quality and that, paired with the region’s appetite for environmental sustainability across the board, puts Filta squarely in the driver’s seat to capitalize on those needs.”

Other areas Blake mentions for targeted expansion due to regional changes or Filta territories opening up, include Long Island and Tulsa.

With a proven business model backed by more than 20 years of experience, the Filta brand offers entrepreneurs the opportunity to be their own boss in a lucrative and growing industry. Owners enjoy a home-based business with large exclusive territories, which can allow franchisees to quickly scale Filta’s simple business model into a multiple van, multiple revenue stream operation. Servicing repeat customers on a weekly basis, minimal overhead, and backing from one of the most robust corporate support systems in the entire franchise industry makes an investment with Filta a good choice for most entrepreneurs.

Through a network of thousands of commercial and restaurant kitchens serviced weekly, Filta Environmental Kitchen Solutions has recycled nearly 1 billion pounds of used cooking oil into bio-diesel fuel, significantly reducing the impact of fryer oil on the environment. The brand has expanded its kitchen services into humidity control for cold storage and grease-free drain foams making it the recognized environmental leader across the restaurant and hospitality industry. Customers range from single and chain restaurants to commercial kitchens inside casinos, hospitals, hotels, groceries, universities, business facilities, stadiums (NFL, NCAA, MLB, NHL), and more.

Prospective franchisees can expect their initial investment to range from approximately $103,100 –$116,700 including a $39,950 territory fee and a $49,950 opening package. Franchisees also benefit from comprehensive local marketing support, ongoing training, research and development of new products, operational support including inside sales teams that help secure new customer opportunities, technician recruitment, and continuous business counselling.
